What began in Santa Barbara as a thoughtfully curated space has grown into a trusted destination on the Central Coast, serving both Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Over time, the business has evolved through long-standing client relationships, a refined point of view, and a commitment to creating homes that feel natural, personal, and enduring.
Meet the Owner, Kelli
Kelli’s life has always been rooted in retail and home furnishings. From working in a women’s clothing boutique as a teenager to leading several large-scale furniture manufacturing and retail operations in Asia, she has found her greatest joy in collaborating with clients and creating homes and businesses that fuse ancient serenity with a modern, refined aesthetic.
In 2001, Kelli founded Celadon House with the mission of creating spaces that feel both relaxing and welcoming. Clean, simple lines, calming colors, rich textures, and a focus on fewer, higher-quality pieces made from organic, eco-friendly materials define the brand’s signature style.
Since then, Celadon House has grown into two leading home furnishing and interior design destinations on California’s Central Coast, with a legacy of creating hundreds of timeless, visually calming, and comfortable spaces that clients truly love.
Allie
Allie grew up immersed in the world of design, accompanying her mom, Kelli, to trade shows, client meetings, and showroom visits from an early age. Those experiences shaped her eye for detail and gave her an intuitive understanding of how thoughtful design can transform the way people live. Blending a fresh perspective with a deep appreciation for timeless style, Allie brings creativity, warmth, and intention to every project.
Most days, you'll find Allie in the showroom helping clients bring their vision to life. You’ll usually find her 3-year-old daughter, Skylar, close by greeting customers, rearranging pillows, and keeping everyone smiling.
Skylar
As Celadon's third generation, Skylar keeps the showroom full of life. Whether she's hiding among the pillows, scootering through the showroom, or convincing Kelli it's time for their famous 10-minute ice cream and toy store adventure, she's always bringing smiles to everyone who stops by.
While she's not quite ready to take on design clients just yet, she's already mastered the art of making Celadon feel like home.

Each member of the team plays a role in creating the experience clients have come to expect: knowledgeable, approachable, and deeply invested in helping every space come together in a way that feels right.
Shannon
After a long career in corporate marketing, Shannon found her way to Celadon House following a move to San Luis Obispo six years ago. What began as a new chapter quickly became a natural fit, combining her eye for detail with a passion for creating comfortable, well-considered spaces.
She enjoys helping clients select pieces that are not only beautiful, but environmentally conscious and made to last. Her approach is thoughtful and approachable, making the process feel easy and enjoyable.
Outside of work, Shannon spends her time hiking, traveling to new places, and enjoying a really good cup of coffee.
Sue
After 25 years of moving across the country—each chapter involving building, remodeling, and reimagining spaces—Sue and her husband Jeff settled in Santa Barbara in 2020. While designing her own home, she discovered Celadon House, connected with Kelli, and quickly became part of the team.
Sue understands firsthand how overwhelming home projects can feel, and she brings a calm, supportive approach to every client she works with. Her goal is simple: to make the process enjoyable, approachable, and thoughtfully guided.
When she’s not at the store, Sue enjoys golfing, walking with her golden retriever, and spending time with friends and family, often around a meal prepared by her husband.
Shanna
Born and raised in Canada, Shanna made her way to California over a decade ago, eventually settling in Santa Barbara in search of a slower, more coastal pace. With more than 20 years of experience in luxury automotive and lifestyle event planning, she brings a refined eye and a deep appreciation for thoughtful design to everything she does.
She found her way to Celadon House and immediately felt at home.. Shanna enjoys connecting with both locals and visitors from around the world, helping them discover pieces that feel personal and lasting.
Outside of the store, she can often be found hiking local trails or spending time along the Santa Barbara coastline with her dog Coco by her side.
Andrea
Andrea’s path has come full circle, bringing her back to her roots in design. After more than a decade as an interior designer, she expanded her career as an author, national breast cancer advocate, and senior editorial voice at a leading health media company.
Today, she brings both her creative perspective and life experience to Celadon House, offering a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to design. Alongside her work in the store, she continues her advocacy, supporting women navigating breast cancer with the same care and intention she brings to her design work.
Echoe
With a degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego and more than a decade of experience in high-end custom homes and residential design, Echoe brings both creativity and technical expertise to every project. She leads Celadon's AutoCAD drawings and enjoys transforming ideas into thoughtfully designed spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
As a wife, mom, and small business owner herself, Echoe understands the importance of creating homes that are designed to be lived in and loved for years to come.
Ava
Ava is currently a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara, where she is studying Psychology and Brain Sciences while playing soccer for UCSB. Originally from Redwood City, she brings a grounded, energetic presence to the Celadon House team.
She enjoys being part of a creative, client-focused environment and values the opportunity to connect with people while learning more about thoughtful design and how spaces come together.
Outside of the store, Ava spends much of her time on the field, with friends, or around dogs.
Dakota
Originally from California's Central Valley, Dakota now calls Santa Barbara home while attending UC Santa Barbara as a student-athlete. Balancing academics and collegiate soccer, she brings energy, creativity, and a thoughtful eye for design to the Celadon team.
With a passion for fashion, home décor, and personal style, Dakota enjoys helping create beautiful spaces while working toward her goal of becoming a lawyer after graduation.
